Some new creations by me!!

Here is one of the new aprons I made. I think this is one of my favorite one's. I am going to post it on ETSY but I kind of hope it does not sell. This was such a fun one to make.
I just love how all the roses came out. The fabric made such a great swirl of colors.
The pockets are so roomy.
I love how this huge rose turned out. Very vintage retro.
This would make a great Christmas gift for someone!!

Discovery Museum in Huntersville

Discovery Place opend a new location in Huntersville so the boys and I decided to give it a try. It was so amazing!! There was so much to do and see. There was a real firetruck that caught Calebs attention as soon as we got there. He put on the uniform and went to drive around and save the day. There was also an ambulance to ride on and a patiect in the back to treat. Wow......

Here is the firetruck in all it's glory.

And Caleb on the fire pole. Every boy's dream come true.

Here is Cody at the bank. He is the teller sending money thru to his customer. There were deposit slips, a microphone and vault. The red car moved back and forthand would stop in front of the ATM.

Hopefully Cody will be better then his mommy at depositing and not with-drawing!!!

Next we went to the garage where the boys took the tires on and off over and over. There was oil to change, antifreeze to fill and each bottle made the glug sounds as you turned them over. You were also able to take off the muffler from under the car and put a new on on.

Caleb loved being able to slide under the car to see how everything worked.

Hunters favorite part was the ship and submarine. He and some other boys he made friends with played there forever. It is amazing how they come up with these games to play with eachother.

Sorry about the sideways sub pictures. I have not figured out how to change it on the blog yet. There were so many buttons and gauges to use. Hunter was thrilled.

Needles and bruises!!

Why is it that every time they try to take blood or put an IV in that they end up having to poke me over and over again. I am NOT a human pin cushion. I now have a HUGE black bruise around my wrist, thumb and up both my arms. I look like a drug user. 3 needles and 4 IV's is not my idea of a good time. OK I am done venting now.....Well maybe.......

Here is one of the aprons I have created. It is one of the newer ones I have made. I love the embroidery on it and the ties on the back of the apron are so pretty. I made the ties out of a Tommy Hilfiger shirt I had that shrunk in the wash, so it went into the "sewing" pile to be transformed into something new.........
Front of embroidered apron.

Back view with ties.

Here is the kitchen towel I made to go with it. I just took some of the extra material I had leftover from the apron and made roses to go on it as well as the embroidered flower.

Sorry about the bad picture!!

Front of skirt with pocket.
I love this apron. There is nothing better to me then eylett lace material. It makes me feel like I am in the Victorian era. Or the 40's....take your pick.
Here is the kitchen towel that goes with the set.

Another apron with a halter top.

And you have to have the matching kitchen towel right. This one is made to hang off the stove.

Ok I am off to bed. Caleb is sick again with his allergies, like always. Poor kid. Keep praying for him....

Finally some pictures!!!

Ok, so I have finally figured out how to get the pictures the way I want them. What a pain. Well here are some of the reusable snack and sandwich bags I have made. I love them because you just rinse or wipe them out if needed. They are very sturdy and PRETTY if I don't say so!!! I have all kinds of new oilcloth and laminated fabric so I will have new designs soon.
These make me so happy. I will be posting these for sale on the Etsy site  this week. Tell your friends.

Here is one of the snack bags. It has a squared off
bottom so that it holds more, like yummy popcorn!!
Sandwich Bag.

The back of the sandwich bag is as pretty as the front.

The inside of each bag is lined as well for easy cleaning.

Well, tell me what you think? I will do my next post on some of the aprons I have made. Mary Beth is about to clean me out of aprons. She has been giving them as teacher gifts. She is making a huge order of things for Christmas gifts as well. Fun stuff!!!

McDonalds AGAIN!!!!

Why is it that we mothers live at McDonalds with our children? I think it would be much easier if I did not LOVE McDonalds as much as they do. I even come here when not with the kids. Pathetic, I know....

So The house is going on the market today. Just be praying for us that it will be done soon so we can get Caleb out of this poisoness State and somewhere more healthy for us all.

After McDonalds it is off to to Rite Aid for more meds. I am just a walking advertisement for McDonalds and the drug companies. I should get them to sponsor the Blog sometime......

Until next time....
